After the indian summer weather leading up to the first alliance meeting of the season the 68 players were greeted by very cool and windy conditions which made scoring difficult reflected with only 5 two's recorded. The father and son pairing of Trevor and Chris Johnston however, scored a superb 44 points with Chris making 7 birdies in his round. Grant Slater won the individual professional award just pipping Gary Lenaghan and Chris Ramsden. The Tehidy Captain elect, Terry Clotworthy, welcomed everyone to the club and presented the awards. The Alliance Captain, Gary Lenaghan, thanked Tehidy for hosting the event, the excellent catering and for presenting the course in fine condition.
