69 played in the Annual Championships meeting on a breezy sunny day with the course in superb condition. Nigel Goodman (Bowood) captured the closely fought amatuer championship beating Malcolm Cole on last 9 count back with Dave Saget coming 3rd on count back also. The Team award for the Brian Gripe Trophy (adding combined scores) resulted in a 3 point advantage for Grant Slater, Malcolm Cole and Rundle Hatcher. Nick Rogers (Falmouth) won the CAW Championship Trophy in the individual Professional sector with an excellent round. Tony Pitts thanked St Enodoc for hosting the event with all facilities and the course first rate. John Baxter, the St Enodoc Captain welcomed the Alliance and presented the awards.
