Early heavy rain relented and gave players a breezy day with the odd shower. The course played well and was in very good condition. The Trethorne pairing of Clive Franklin & Simon Schofield beat Mike Hayes and Keith Popperwell on last 9 count back to take the amateur award. Garnt Slater and Nick Williams shared the individual professional prize. The 2011-20012 season Amateur Trophy was won by Dave Holland (Falmouth) and the Professional Trophy (2011-2012) was retained by Richard Sadler from the Killiow club with a superb season. Alan Lund, the St Austell Captain welcomed the Alliance and presented the prizes. Tony Pitts thanked St Austell for hosting the event, the catering was excellent.
