80 members played on a frosty very cold day with a strong easterly wind creating difficult golfing conditions. Despite a challenging day scores were quite good. Glyn Rowett won the amateur prize with 38 points with four others a point behind, with their placings decided on last 9 count back. Paul Turpin and Richard Sadler shared the individual professional award with Tony Pitts successful in the team professional catergory. Rob Kellythorn, the Newquay Captain welcomed the Alliance and presented the awards. Andy Welch, the Alliance Vice captain, thanked the club for hosting the event.
