A warm sunny spring day greeted the Alliance members for their Championships meeting. Tony Pitts on behalf of the Alliance thanked Truro for hosting the event. Danny Downing, at his home club, won the CCPGA trophy for the best amateur on the day. Richard Sadler won the CAW trophy for the winning professional on the day. The Brian Gripe Trophy for the best team on the day went to Tony Pitts, Spike Drew and Danny Downing with the most combined stableford points.
