Mark Swift and Phil Martyn-Uglow

An excellent field of 104 played at Trevose, the weather was ideal for golf, no wind and pleasantly mild with the course in superb condition which was reflected in the scores achieved. Richard Sadler was again in top form with another great round, 4 under par, Gary Lenaghan, the home pro, carded a very good 2 under par round. The Launceston pairing of Phil Martyn-Uglow & Mark Swift won the amatuer award with just ahead of Andy Allum and Billy Downing in 2nd and 3rd places last nine count back was needed to separate 8 of the 9 amatuer placings. Mike Ellis, the Trevose Captain, welcomed the Allaince members to the club and presented the prizes. Mike Derry thanked Trevose for hosting the event.
