Early rain cleared to give a dry day with a light breeze and good golfing conditions for the 96 players. The course was in great condition too which enhanced the golfers' enjoyment on the day. Max Billingsley (Lanhydrock) won the amateur prize with a great 44 points, 2 points ahead of Frank Blake (St Mellion). 3rd to 7th place all scored 41 points and were decided on last nine countback. Mark Arrowsmith (St Enodoc) shared the individual professional award with Richard O'Hanlon (Lanhydrock) with 1 under par (37 points). Mike Jarvis, the St Enodoc Captain welcomed all to the club and presented the prizes. Mike Derry thanked the club for hosting the event, together with the greens staff, bar and catering. Next meeting is at Perranporth on Thursday 20th January
