84 members played in a strong wind, the day was cloudy but thankfully the forecast rain held off until the last players out were in the clubhouse. The major highlight of the day was a superb 6 under par round by Richard Sadler the Killiow professional. In second place was Joel Cant, the home professional, who returned a one under par score Brian Craig (Falmouth) finished 2 points ahead of the Lanhydrock pairing of Max Billingsley and Ian Morgan, to win the amateur award. Terry Jones, the Newquay Captain, welcomed all to the club and trusted they had all enjoyed the day. He then presented the awards. Mike Derry, the Alliance Captain, thanked Newquay for hosting the day he also thanked the greens, catering and bar staff for an excellent day. The next meeting will be at Trevose on Thursday 17th February
