60 members played in the first meeting of the Alliance season. The early rain cleared to give a warm sunny day with the course in very good condition. It was a great day for the Lanhydrock pairing of Martin Nicholas & Richard O'Hanlon. Martin winning the amateur prize and Richard sharing the individual pro award with Richard Sadler both returning 2 under par rounds. Mike Derry, the Alliance captain, thanked the Launceston club for hosting the event so well, it was really appreciated by all. David Downing, the Launceston Vice Captain welcomed the players to the club and presented the prizes. The next Alliance will be at Tehidy GC on Weds 13th October.
