A great field of 90 took part in the Lanhydrock Alliance, the weather was predominantly dry with some breeze. The course was in very good condition despite rain in preceding days. The Carlyon Bay club dominanted the awards with Will Sumner taking the amateur prize on last 9 count back from Mike Rees. Results were so close that count back was needed for all amateur placings. The Carlyon Bay assistant pro, Dan Foard, shared the Team Professional prize with Mark Rowe and Paul Turpin from the same club took the individual professional honours with a 2 under par round closely followed by Steve Bonham (Lostwithiel) on level par. The Lanhydrock Captain, Robin Bostock-Smith welcomed the players and presented the awards. The next meeting is at West Cornwall GC on Thurs 11th Nov.
