Winners Rita Worswick & Dave Holt

A very good entry of 84 players contested the Mixed Alliance at Carlyon Bay. The early rain relented to give a a pleasant golfing day. Dave Holt and Rita Worswick from the Lostwithiel Club won the event on last nine countback ahead of the father and daughter pairing Nick and Lauren Williams from St Enodoc. Last years winner Chris Watkins & Sheila Cooper came 3rd. Keith Gay, Carlyon Bay Captain and Heather Rushton the Ladies Captain also on 42 points were 4th. They also presented the prizes for the day. Tony Pitts, on behalf of the Alliance thanked the Carlyon Bay club for hosting the event. The Alliance season starts again in September, the fixture list will soon be published.
