One hundred members played in the Christmas Alliance meeting. (25 Professionals and 75 amateurs). The weather was sunny and dry with a brisk wind. The course was in great condition. The shotgun start competition was followed by a traditional turkey christmas dinner. Tony Ramsden (Budock Vean) playing with his son Chris Ramsden the Mullion pro won the amateur prize with a superb 44 points, ahead of the Carlyon Bay pair of Stan Stanbridge and Pat Coombe the remaning places were very close and decided on count back. Chris Ramsden won the Team Pro award with 5 professionals tying for 2nd place. Mark Rowe from Carlyon bay triumphed as the individual professional with a one under par round with Nick Willaims and Richard O'Hanlon level par in second place. The next Alliance meeting will be Weds 6th Jan at St Enodoc
