The harsh winter weather relented and despite some fog delay, a great days golf was enjoyed by 70 members of the Alliance. The course was in remarkably good condition after the frosts over the first 2 weeks of January. Some excellent scores were acheived on the day with numerous pairings scoring 40 points or more. The Amateur prize went to Mike Ellis (the Trevose Captain) & Nick Gammon the Trevose MD with Jason Gay & Martin Nicholas a close second. 3rd to 7th placings were decided on count back. Jack Stevenson, the St Mellion pro, had a suberb round of 4 under par to take the individual professional prize one ahead of Gary Lenaghan the home pro.

The next meeting is at Newquay on Weds 27th January.
