40 members played the West and East courses over 2 days. Although played in very windy weather it thankfully remained dry. The Saunton club gave a great welcome and the courses were presented in superb condition. The players attended a celebrity Charity evening at Saunton Sands hotel and a great time was enjoyed by all. Jack Stevenson, the St Mellion professional playing in his first Alliance meeting triumphed as the winner of the individual professional over the days. Eddie Goodaire, Nick Rogers, Jamie O'Hara and Scott Richards also scored well. The overall amateur award went to John Nicholls of Looe, successes too for Andy Allum, Neil Oakes, Nick Morley, Dave Holland and Joe Yorke.
