The first Alliance meeting of the season was played in glorious sunshine, the recent dry weather made the course and greens play much quicker and driving accuracy was paramount on the day. Paul Turpin, the Carlyon Bay professional mastered the conditions superbly to return a 2 under par round, Paul had a great day winning the individual and team professional award the latter with his amatuer partner Jason Gay (6 handicap). Also, Pip Pool from Lanhydrock GC acheived a hole in one on the 8th hole!!!
