92 played in sunny almost springlike weather. The course was in superb condition and the greens immaculate .It played long off the championship teeshence scoring was not easy. Mike Hayes of Budock Vean partnered by Jamie O'Hara the St Mellion professional pipped Mark Hutchings (playing with the West Cornwall pro Malcolm Edmunds) for the amateur award, on count back. Jamie O'Hara had a great day sharing the team professional prize with Malcolm Edmunds as well being joint 1st with Tony Pitts for the individual professional award.
