72 played.The early morning rain cleared to blue skys and great golf conditions. The course was also in superb condition with the greens very fast. The scores were very close with the China Fleet pairing of Colin Kitt and "J J "Jones beating Pete Flaherty (playing with Tony Pitts) by one pointto take the amateur award. Tony Pitts, the St.Austell pro, continued his recent good form winning the Professional team and individual prize with a superb 3 under par round.
