Winners Des Britton and Nick Rogers

88 members played in bright sunshine but with a very strong wind , this made scoring very difficult which was reflected in the scores returned. There was a triumph for Des Britton, the Falmouth Captain, who won the amateur prize just pipping the Carlyon Bay pairing of Tom Crocker & Stan Stanbridge. Nick Rogers, the home professional, had a great day winning both the Team Professionaland individual Professional awards. Paul Martin (Carlyon bay) was a close second in the individual professional sector. The next meeting will be the Alliance Championships at St Austell on 8th April the Alliance season then concludes with the Mixed meeting at Carlyon bay on 16th April.
